Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has sworn-in six new judges into the Ondo state judiciary.
The governor, while performing the Inauguration at a colourful event in Akure said the appointment was one of his numerous achievements in the judicial sector of Ondo state.
Mr Aiyedatiwa appreciated the chief judge, Justice Odusola for providing good leadership for the judiciary stressing that the appointees merited the promotion.
The governor charged the new judges to discharge their duties with the fear of God.
In a welcome address, the attorney general and commissioner for justice in Ondo state, Mr Kayode Ajulo appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa for approving the appointment of the new judges and for ensuring the smooth running of the judicial system in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the new judges, Justice Williams Daomi promised that they would discharge thier duties effectively.
The newly appointed Judges are Williams Daomi, Olufunke Adegoroye, Justinah Kpemi, Happiness Ogunbayo, Wunmi Faboluje and Mobayonle Ogunwunmiju.
Dignitaries at the occasion included former Ekiti State governor, Mr Segun Oni, former minister, Prince Ademola Adegoroye, the Chief Judge of Ondo state, Justice Olusegun Odusola, Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, the Bishop of Akure Anglican Diocese, Simeon Borokini, friends and family members of the judges.
