The NOA Boss noted that the Federal Government warned that 148 local government areas in 31 states were at risk of flooding during the torrential rainfall till month of November. This prediction could be worsened by the opening of the Lagdo Dam in neighbouring Cameroon last week which has been released into River Benue and River Niger.

Mr Adekunle appealed to the people not to be apprehensive as the State government has order immediate intervention and urged those who their houses are in floodplain to relocate to upland and seek information about flood prone zones in the City.
