Radio Nigeria Positive FM Reporter Olufisoye Adenitan and On-Air Personality Yetunde Taye have emerged winners in the 2024 Professional Award of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Council.
Olufisoye Adenitan of the News department won the investigative reporter of the year, broadcast category while Yetunde Taye of the program department won the On Air personality of the year.
The Award was presented to them at the Dinner and grand finale of the 2024 NUJ press week held in Akure.
Olufisoye Adenitan has won the different categories of the award for three consecutive years.
The award ceremony which brought together professionals, and stakeholders from far and near was an opportunity to celebrate excellence in various fields of journalism, amplifying the role of the media in changing the narrative in investigative reporting and developmental journalism.
The NUJ chairman Prince Leke Adegbite said the award recipients were strictly selected based on lots of entries received across media organizations in the state
Prince Adegbite said the award was to encourage members for their professional and commitment to work
He promised that the association would continue to encourage excellence and professionalism
In a separate interviews, the award recipients, Yetunde Taye and Olufisoye Adenitan appreciated NUJ for the award and recognition of their work
