The Region 3 and 23 of the Gospel Faith Mission International , GOFAMINT has held its annual Hossana Rally 2024 with the theme ” That I May Know Him”
Hossana rally brings together every year Gofamint members in Ondo State and parts of Osun State to round off celebration of Christ’s resurrection on Easter Mondays.
The rally took place at the GOFAMINT camp grounds outskirt of Akure the Ondo State capital on Akure – Ondo road .
As early as nine o’clock in the morning of April 1st , 2024 being the Easter Monday , members started trooping to the camp grounds for the annual spiritual retreat on a day widely known in Christian tradition as Galilee day during which faithful go to meet up with the risen Christ following in the footsteps of the disciples in the Holy Bible.
The praise and worship which kick started the rally electrified the camp grounds as the congregation with dance offered praises to the Almighty.
The Adult Choir led by Pastor Olowoyo and Elder Richard Ikotun thereafter charged up the rally with heart warming renditions including the children choir also led by Deaconess Bola Alabi who rendered soul lifting songs to the admiration of the faithful.
Welcoming the faithful, Region 23 Pastor , Pastor Josiah Taiwo mentioned that unity of purpose existed between Gofamint region 3 and 23 and there was no division of the spirit but only that of administration for the expansion of God’s work.
Pastor Taiwo said that the hossana rally jointly organized by both regions aside the spiritual blessings was also a reunion platform for members from Gofamint churches across towns in both regions.
In a soul searching message delivered on the occasion by the District Pastor of Gofamint Oba-Ile , Pastor Thomas Gabriel speaking on the theme explained knowing Christ the more and christians rededication unto God according to Philippians 3:10 – 12.
Pastor Gabriel told the congregation to key into the power behind the resurrection of Christ for a transformed life .
After the message , it was time for prayer ministration and the Region 3 Pastor , Pastor Gbejami Faseemo who mounted the pulpit with special anointing conducted powerful deliverance prayer session touching all facets of life and prayers for the country.
There were also thanksgiving and testimonies by members who related the wondrous intervention of God in their lives , one of them , a retired national evangelist in the mission , Evangelist Alex Olagidi did a special thanksgiving appreciating God for saving him in a near fatal accident.
Some faithful who who spoke including Mrs Tosin Abitogun and the Acting Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo , Pastor Olorunwa Adegun expressed joy for the grace to be part of the event which they said was well planned for members to be together in the presence of God during Easter festivities .
In a remark, the Chairman, Gofamint Hossana Rally Planning Committee, Pastor Oluwatosin Owoseeni who is Gofamint National Head Usher disclosed that the church was focused on reaching out with the message of salvation to the list souls .
He called for cooperation from Gofamint members to ensure to that the program continue to hold successfully.
The rally ended with faithful raising pledges to support the hossana rally project and were blessed with special prayers of divine showers of blessings .#
